All ROADS LEAD TO RATHPEACON

Our junior b hurling county semi-final will be played in Rathpeacon this Thursday the 9th at 8.pm. We have prepared well for this over the last few weeks and had two great wins in the division 1 hurling league against Dromina and the county league against Ballinhassig.

This game will be a very tough assignment against the team from the west Cork area of Dunmanway. Like all teams from there they will be big strong physical team and they are in the semi-final on merit after some good wins.

We will be hoping for another fast start to the game like we did against Araglen in the quarter final when we had a lead of 1-6 to 0-1 after 15 minutes and this really set the tone for that game, we have no fresh injuries worries but will be short the services of Richard Burke and Padraig Fitzgerald who both will have got married this week and they will both be a loss but replacements are at the ready to step in and do a job.

We ask all members and supports to come out and support the team. Best of luck to all involved!!!
