Last Sunday in Milford our second string put in a spirited performance against the home team but unfortunately we could not get over the line with Milford holding out for a three point win 0-18 to 2-9. We held a two point lead at half time and looked to be in a good position but a youthful Milford where to up the ante in the second half and ran out winners in the end, we had some good performances on the day from Niall Barry, Padraig Fitzgerald and Paul Burke and hopefully we can get a win next Sunday with the visit of Killdorrery to Shanballymore at 3pm.
