Last Friday night in the local community hall our Juvenile Club held their victory social with a large crowd present for a night of celebrations. There was a great atmosphere with kids dancing the night away to DJ David O’Connor.Parents were treated to some nice tea and coffee along with some fine baking, all kids that were present were presented with club certificates and a bag of goodies for their hard work a effort in 2014 and last years u12s who claimed the hurling league were presented with their winning medals, while our u13s received their medals for the fantastic win in the final of the u13 football league. A big thank you to Jerry Sheedy who presented the medals to the u12 and u13s and these lads will hopefully go on to claim more silverware this year.
FOOTBALL TRAINING.
U13 and U14 football training will take place every Tuesday night at 7pm sharp in the training area at the gaa grounds, please bring a drink and mouthgaurds and notify trainers if unable to attend.
U6, U8, U10, U12.
All of our younger age groups will be back training in the next two weeks and will be busy playing blitzes from mid march, all parents will be notified by text from the various trainers about times and dates.
MEMBERSHIP.
Club membership is now been collected for 2015 and can be paid to Collete Looney and will only cost €20 per child or adult or €50 per family.
