Next Sunday March 1st at 12 Noon in Castletownroche Shanballymore play Castletownroche in the Stevie Burke Memorial Hurling Tournament. There will be an entry fee at the gate with all proceeds from this game going towards the Brian Magner Fund.
We would love to see a large turnout from Shanballymore at this game next Sunday to help kickstart the Brian Magner Trust Fund.
Brian was heavily involved in Mill Rovers teams down through the years which nurtured Shanballymore and Castltetownroche juvenile members that are now the back bone of our Adult teams. Just last year in 2014 Brian was a selector on the Double Championship Winning Shanballymore\Castletownroche U21 team.
We hope to see you all out in Castletownroche on next Sunday morning in Support of Brian in his rehabilitation and hopefully an enjoyable hours hurling to kick start the hurling calendar for both clubs…..
