Shanballymore Juvenile club held the Rebel Og Monster football Blitz last Saturday. On the day both Buttervant and Kilworth brought 2 teams. Glanworth also made the short trip to take part in the blitz. All games were played in the best of spirit and played to the highest of standard. Feedback from other clubs was very positive and all clubs felt very welcome.

Under 8’s:
In the first game we played Kilworth, This was a really enjoyable game with Luke(Twomey), Rory, Will and Cian really playing well against a tough Kilworth team. In the second game we played Buttervant. This game was another step up from the previous game, but credit to our players who brought all their skills from the training ground into match situation with Indya, Jamie and Sean really standing out. In the third and final match we played Kilworth’s second team. Naill,Luke(Burke), Kash and Dawn worked hard with some very good football skills and scores. Panel of players on the day: Cian Sheedy, Indya and Kash Szwarc, Will and Dawn Ladd Finn, Rory and Niall Murray, Luke Burke, Sean Barry, Jamie Burke and Luke Twomey .
