Social:
On Saturday the 14th of January Shanballymore Juvenile club held their social in Shanballymore community hall. There was a large number in attendance to celebrate the success of the 2016 GAA year. Dave Twomey Chairman of Shanballymore Juvenile club addressed the large crowd and outlined why it was important for the club to show their recognition, support and to give the kids a chance to celebrate their effort and hard work at training and matches throughout the year. Dave also outlined the plans for the year ahead and said that Shanballymore Juvenile club would be entering as many competitions to give all kids a chance of playing as many games as possible, to develop their skills and also to make as many friends as they can through the GAA community. Dave went on to thank MJ the Dj who supplied music and entertainment on the night. Dave thanked Brian O Reilly the 2016 All Ireland winning club captain for handing out certificates on the night.  With close to 50 kids receiving these certificates as well as some light refreshments and goodies it can go down as another successful night for Shanballymore Juvenile GAA club.
