It’s a red letter day for Shanballymore as the Shanballymore hurlers are into an All Ireland Final!

Shortly after our All-Ireland Semi Final our opponents were deemed ineligible to go further on a number of fronts. Unfortunately at the highest level of GAA Shanballymore were also being blocked from proceeding. However, after nearly 8 weeks of locking horns between Shanballymore and the highest decision making bodies in Croke Park finally a competent sporting decision making panel represented by 8 to 10 counties in the country last night at a meeting in the Hogan Stand Croke Park overturned earlier incorrect rulings made by the CCCC and now Shanballymore go forward to represent Avondhu Cork and Munster in the All Ireland Final against Tynagh Abbey Duniry of Galway.

We expect the will be played in the coming weeks. Special mention to all in the attached picture and Jonathan Linehan who were instrumental in this historic, momentous turnover. Now, thankfully and rightly all focus returns to the playing field and in preparing for an All Ireland Final for Shanballymore.
