The night is nearly upon us, Shanballymore GAA club have the great honour of hosting the current President of the GAA Liam O’Neill for an evening of Gaeilge, Culture and Celebration. Where you will be entertained by some fabulous music from Cuisle Avondhu Senior Group from nearby Killavullen to help you settle in before formal proceedings kick off….

• Newly appointed County Board Vice Chairperson Tracey Kennedy will be on hand to help with our new club website launch

• County Board Cultural officer Ciaran McCann will be present to impart his knowledge as part of our Irish Certificate presentations….

• Newly Appointed County Board Chairman Ger Lane and Divisional board Chairman John O’Donnell are also expected to attend.

• Congratulations to Davey Sheedy – who will have the great honor of receiving his Club hall of Fame Award in the presence of Liam O’Neill making it a hat trick of Hall of Fame awards for the Sheedy Clan.

• The local school children have put great work into retelling the history of Shanballymore Via drama dance and song that we are all looking forward to seeing….

• Pat McCarthy’s eloquent Voice and his backing puc ar buile bandits will be in action….
