Honours: North Cork Football 2012, Division 2 Hurling League 2007 with Shanballymore. All Ireland College Hurling Fergal Maher Cup with IT Tallaght.
Highlight of your GAA career to date? Captaining SBM in Hurling Championship. It may have been a bad beating, but captaining the club you love it is an honour.
Favourite thing about our club? The banter
Do you remember your first game for Shanballymore? Ya, Junior A Football Championship v Glanworth in Fermoy. I was 15.
Other interests outside of the GAA? Soccer, Rugby and Tennis.
Which sports person would you most like to meet? Been lucky enough to meet a load of them through work, I’ll say The Rock.
Favourite sporting memory? Cork’s All-Ireland Hurling win in 2004, the Football win in 2010 or Andy Murray winning Wimbledon in 2013 (just to annoy the boys).
A sporting event you would most like to attend? Wimbledon final, Darts in Ally Pally or Wrestle-mania.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Head up and win the next ball.
What advice would you give to younger players? Catch the ball instead of taking a touch. (Could do with learning it myself)

If there was one thing you would change about the GAA, what would it be? Pick the ball off the ground in Football. It would make it a faster game.
If you owned a race horse what would you call it? Glue Factory
In ten years time I hope to be? Happy, healthy and helping out with the youngsters in the club.
