Favourite thing about our club? The craic with the lads on and off the field
Do you remember your first game for Shanballymore? Football was a league game against Mallow and hurling was a challenge game against Newmarket.
Other interests outside of the GAA? Soccer, Rugby, Golf and all sports really
Which sports person would you most like to meet? Steven Gerrard a LA Galaxy legend!!!
Favourite sporting memory? The 2004 All Ireland Hurling Final first time I saw Cork lift the Liam McCarthy.
A sporting event you would most like to attend? Cheltenham Gold Cup
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? It’s just another game just keep doing the simple things right no need for heroes.
What advice would you give to younger players? Always listen to advice you are being given and try and learn from players you admire, see what they do well and copy them.
You may not know this but “I’m good at”? Getting injured and taking a slagging.

Favourite book? The Guns of Easter it’s the only book I have read more than once.
Toughest opponent at training? Brian Barry, you were guaranteed no easy ball.
Growing up my favourite hurler was? I always wanted to be Joe Deane, a small nippy corner forward who scored frees, needless to say it didn’t work out!!

If there was one thing you would change about the GAA, what would it be? A better standard of refereeing at all levels.
If you owned a race horse what would you call it? Sure there is always next year!
In ten years time I hope to be? A qualified accountant and still playing for Shambla
