Highlight of your GAA career to date? Winning the double in 2011 first year playing was pretty good

 

Favourite thing about our club? Togetherness of young and old

 

Do you remember your first game for Shanballymore? Half!! After a sick journey to Midleton dying from drink I lined out corner forward

 

Other interests outside of the GAA? Watching any sport, hanging with Sam

 

Which sports person would you most like to meet? Luckily enough I know Louths newest hurling star #lifeiscomplete

 

Favourite sporting memory? 2004 All Ireland hurling final on the hill

 

A sporting event you would most like to attend? Game 7 of NBA finals with the Bulls playing at home

 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Dunno if it’s the best but it’s the most recent ‘hard work and concentration!!’

 

What advice would you give to younger players? Dominant hand on top of the Hurley is vital

 

You may not know this but “I’m good at”? Avoiding the mother

If there was one thing you would change about the GAA, what would it be? At local level have refs who seem interested

 

If you owned a race horse what would you call it? Forrest Gump

 

In ten years time I hope to be? Happy, in good health playing away with a county and maybe a North Cork in the back pocket
