Shanballymore juvenile club would like to thank everybody who supported the Christmas draw held in Irwins Corner House on Sunday 21st of December, on the night a great crowd turned up to help make it a very enjoyable night. There was a great response from the public to the cards that went on sale in November and all the money raised will be put towards the club and much needed equipment and coaching for our young stars of the future. A big thank you to everybody who sponsored prizes for the draw especially our main sponsor Country Clean Recycling who generously sponsored first prize which was won by local women Julie Dennehy. The club would also like to thank Paddy and Mary Irwin for hosting the Christmas draw and for the kind sponsorship of €150 to cover running costs on the night, this was much appreciated by the club and a fantastic night was capped by DJ Mick Palmer blasting out festive music till the early hours which all enjoyed.

COFFEE MORNING:
Last Sunday the juvenile club hosted the first coffee morning of 2015 which was held in the community center after mass, a large crowd turned out to support the juvenile club and these popular coffee mornings which are held on the 2nd Sunday of every month by different clubs within the community are to help raise funds and are a great way for the local people to come together. Thank you to everybody who helped out on the morning and to all who baked some beautiful buns and cakes that went down a treat with the teas and coffees.
